According to the source, that is Al Capone’s bulletproof limousine. The story goes that, after Pearl Harbor, there was no protected vehicle for President Roosevelt to travel in, so they “borrowed” this from the T Men who had confiscated it from Capone and drove FDR around in it. I have not done any research to confirm this, but it makes sense. It’s also a gorgeous car.
